During battery replace - fat fingered the battery swap and broke off the clip that either holds down the battery or is a more key part of the circuit

Movement is an ETA 281.002.

Anybody know if this is integral to the battery or just a clip?

Thanks in advance.

I've tried a fresh battery and also holding down the battery but can't get it to run so wondering if it's a positive terminal that's broken.

Many thanks.

From memory it's a terminal. If you remove the circuit you'll probably find it touches it somewhere. Apart from the bridle in the 5 motored quartz chrono that ETA make most clips double as terminals. Not much frivolous waste in a quartz movement!

Thanks! Now need to figure out a way to repair it or buy just the terminal part.
