Too hot?

I've noticed my 964 has been getting a little hot lately - The oil temp is getting up to near the 4th line (ie th eneedle is nearly horizontal). I know thats nowhere near the red but previously its always stayed on or below the third line.
I've had it nearly 3 yrs but I never used to drive so much in traffic as I do now so maybe its normal. Any ideas?

Check the oil cooler at the front of the car, it may be caked in mud/leaves/dead birds.

Manually raise the spoiler in slow moving traffic, it makes a useful difference.

By all means follow the above suggestions, but that sounds normal temp for a 964 in this weather in traffic. Mine is exactly the same.
