If you're talking about the two moving cars in the two clips, then nobody's got a cat in Hell's chance of proper identification. Sorry. I've viewed both bits of footage and there's precious little detail in either.

The colour film shows two cars. The first is small to medium sized, possibly a hatchback and possibly silver or grey in colour. It appears to be driving on the wrong side of the road. Nothing else about it can be discerned, given that the camera hasn't correctly recorded its shape - what is shown is nothing more than a coloured streak with headlights and taillights. The second car is somewhat clearer and drives on the correct side. It looks slightly longer and has different proportions, possibly those of a coupe or low slung saloon. It is darker in colour than the first car, appearing black or possibly navy blue. I'd guess at it being a German car, potentially a Mercedes.

The black and white film is of significantly lower quality. It shows the two cars driving on the correct side of the road, with one apparently following the other. They probably are the same cars as appear in the colour film, however their positions are transposed. The dark car leads, followed by the lighter grey or silver one. No specific details regarding either car can be made out.

That’s probably the best still.

I know it’s difficult and I wasn’t expecting everyone to jump on and say oh it’s this or that, just had a bit of hope that someone could make something out.
They broke into our house whilst we were asleep and took the car, I’d really like the police to find them so just trying to narrow it down, I’ve got really good Cctv at the front of the house and I’m trying to see if the car has been driving past and casing it out so to speak, just need a little help what I’m looking for.

The car in the second video on the wrong side of the road is my m135i so you were correct in what you were making out, further back up the road it was the rear car, he’s then overtaken the one he’s travelling with at speed

As I say I wasn’t hoping for people to work miracles but if I just had some idea what to look for I could scan through a few days of good quality Cctv really quickly and rule stuff out.

We know it’s black or really dark in colour, we were thinking it was a Mercedes or bmw know it could be anything.

To be honest, I thought the dark car at the back was a 1 series BMW.

Can I ask why you’re so concerned with identifying the car? It will be on false plates and won’t be in the possession of the driver anymore. You haven’t got a cat in hells chance of catching the thieves I’m afraid and the police certainly won’t be interested. Claim your insurance money, buy a new car, swallow the fact you’ve lost your no claims and move on!
