Setting off back to London from ProDrive near Kenilworth yesterday, I heard about the M25 H2O2 tanker explosion and that it had caused traffic to back up to junction 16 of the M40, so I decided to take the M1. To get to the M1, I had to use the M45.

What a discovery! It was completely empty, the scenery was pleasant and, if I had dared, I could have gone as fast as I liked.

Personally, I would not go stupidly fast down there because I have seen several police cars going down there very quickly and several cars being stopped.
