I am moving my Tern HSD ecargo bike on. Mostly because its bloody heavy. And I fancy something I can commute and go off road with. And a bit lighter. Oh and swmbo confessed just the other day that she thought I looked like a t
t on it.
I was going to go eMTB before I got the Tern. But my head got turned. Im thinking of sticking with a Bosch powered bike. My Tern has the Active Line Plus motor which has been quiet & reliable. And with a Volspeed installed, quite swift too. What are your thoughts on motor choice. Bearing in mind I would have to chip it. I couldnt live with the horrendous feel of the motor without a chip.
Im about 5' 11" and I was thinking of going with a medium frame. Any thoughts.
Lastly budget will be anything from 2.5 to 4k. So yes it will have to a hardtail. Which im happy about.
Thankyou in advance for thoughts, pisstakes & comments.

I can't give advice on which bike but I did spot some good savings on the Sigma Sports website this week https://www.sigmasports.com/clearance/bikes?attrib...
Yes stick with Bosch. Best of the current crop. £4k will easily get you into a quality full suss today. Place in Chester here offering a Trek Rail 5 for £3,300
