I've had a Belroy for years, has outlasted anything I've bought before.

Montblanc - had mine for 8-9 years, and still looks the part. Would definitely replace with another when needed.

I had a wallet as a present from my wife, she found a leather worker on Etsy who made a wallet exactly to my specs. (I can find the name if you like)

It's extremely well made and now has a perfect patina. It doesn't have a fancy name but I'd rather pay for top quality and support a small business in the UK than go for a label personally.

I like the sound of that…good to support local businesses like you said…

My Aspinal is wearing out, it's only c. 30 years old.
I may have to write them a letter. Maybe a stern one.

I see your Montblanc and counter with a Mullberry
I actually bought a Montblanc for myself and gave it to a close friend as his combined 40th Birthday/Xmas present in 2008. He saw it on my desk liked it and I thought ideal special pressie for him.
I then went out to buy one and couldn't get another (not in stock few days before xmas ) so I bought a mulberry - pictured

He still has his Monty I still have the mulberry both have been in daily use 14 years later
Around the time of purchase from memory the price differences between Montblanc and Mulberry were much smaller. Montblancs now seem about a £100 more. I also note that Mulberry seem to have shed their metal badge logo's

Can't stand the bulky old man style wallets (a lot of them being show in here biglaugh )

I've got one of these

Unless you need to carry around loads of cash, does the job perfectly and people are always intrigued by the little card flip switch when you pay for stuff. Had mine for about 6 years now I think, still in great condition.

This. I have a Ridge wallet for the same reason. Those old leather wallets are so dated.

Just checked my Ettinger, and your wallet is 23% thicker. Not sure how they got people to believe that 21mm is slim for a wallet - it isn't.

Another vote for Montblanc. I actually went for a business card holder as I thought the wallet style was a bit old fashioned. Probably fifteen years old and still looks great.

Had one for over a year now and wouldn’t go back.

Rarely have notes inside it.

I've got a TUMI - had it years - and as it wears it looks even better. Used to be a pain as it was designed for US bills so the old UK notes didn't fit in properly. The new 5, 10 and 20 notes now fit in fine.
