He saw it on my desk liked it and I thought ideal special pressie for him.
I then went out to buy one and couldn't get another (not in stock few days before xmas ) so I bought a mulberry - pictured
He still has his Monty I still have the mulberry both have been in daily use 14 years later
Around the time of purchase from memory the price differences between Montblanc and Mulberry were much smaller. Montblancs now seem about a £100 more. I also note that Mulberry seem to have shed their metal badge logo's

Unless you need to carry around loads of cash, does the job perfectly and people are always intrigued by the little card flip switch when you pay for stuff. Had mine for about 6 years now I think, still in great condition.

Just checked my Ettinger, and your wallet is 23% thicker. Not sure how they got people to believe that 21mm is slim for a wallet - it isn't. )I've got one of these
