Spring compressors - what do you think of this design?

Just looking at spring compressors under £200. I just wondered what people thought of the design of the Sealey AK3843

Do you think it has distinct advantages in terms of safety? Are there any other compressors that are better value for safety?

These are excellent and safe. They used to be a lot cheaper.

Its difficult to catogorise any as sate because the firment on every car brand can be different.
I bought a set of the ones linked to above and they are good but wont suit every applicatiion.
The floor mounted hydraulic ones with a safety cage are probably the best idea but overkill for the average home enthusiast.
