TAG F1 SN not showing up on SN/warranty checker

Considering a 2006 f1 CAC1110. When I run the SN through the TAG website it shows no results. The watch looks 100% but I know this can be a minefield. No papers with the watch, what say ye? Would the fakers go to all the trouble of faking an 06 watch worth a few hundred quid?

Working off the suggestion that it might be a fake for a one minute. What is to say it was only made recently? It could have been made years ago and nobody has noticed.

I cannot tell either way but thought I needed to critique your statement.

If it’s any help I just checked the serial number of my 2008 F1 on the website and it came up with no results either.

I purchased the watch new from Mappin and Webb in 2008 so maybe no result means it has no warranty?

Well that does help a little yes. I've bought the dam thing regardless. Asked the seller to send me a pic of a water droplet on the glass as it will form a perfect blob on crystal but a splashy mess on ordinary glass, and apparently the fakers never use crystal.
