Squeeling wheel

Is that the right word?
Like when you apply brakes and a wheel might make that constant eek-eek-eek in proportion to the speed of the wheel, so it slows to stop as you do.
When warm, a bump often causes one of my nearside wheels to do this, braking or just cruising.
A quick stab of the brake will usually stop it, only to have it return with a slight bump in the road again.
Does this sound like an easy one?

..it could be a brake pad moving out marginally with the bump if its not a good tight fit in the caliper..? then the application of the brake puts it back again.?

If dabbing the brakes stops it, take the pads out and either fit anti-squeal shims behind them or put a thin coat of copper-slip on the back of the pads (NOT the friction surface ), or both, then refit the pads.
