Aircon Thermostat

As search facility is not working could anyone tell me where the thermostat is on an early 4.2 Cerb, in this weather the aircon is little more than useless. I thought it was on the RHS of the driver foot well behind carpet near A post, peeled it back all I could find was a mass of wires just near where the roll cage bolts to the floor, am I in the wrong area?

You will be looking at the door harness then!

Look above where your right kneed usually is. Its tyraped to a crossmember, just below the dash.

I hope this is the thing you're after, a small adjustable pot?

Ah, good man, that sounds more promising, hoping I can crank a few degrees more chill out of it, failing that it probably need re-gassing I suppose?

Does it clear a misty screen ok? If not then I would sugest a regas. Adjusting the stat can sometime cause the pipes to freeze up!
