Hey all, anyone know of a good place to purchase (reasonably priced hehe) tyres for a Diablo SV? My '99 SV needs some very soon, and as it's up for sale I can't sell it with barely legals :) I'm in Bucks by the way, and a group buy or good condition seconds would be even better :)

Cheers!

i just got some 335/30 18's delivered today for the Murcie, Pirelli P Zero Rosso's. Cost me £570 for the 2, delivered next day from Micheldever tyres 01962 774437. Haven't found a company any cheaper yet

And I thought £360 for 2 rears for the Exige were expensive!

It is. That's what I pay for two rears on my porsche.

I tend to get a quote from www.mytyres.net and get a local independent to match it. Although that probably isn't an option with lambo tyres, where you also need to find a fitter with the ability to fit and balance 335 width tyres!

Not an option for me either unfortunately Daz.

The Exige is on Yoko AO48's and the compaond is unique to the Exige and Lotus own the rights to it so you can only get them through official Lotus dealers = high prices.

I wouldnt mind so much but my last set only lasted 4000 miles!

Not a bad price there, Simon, thanks. I found blackcircles.co.uk did good prices, but not quite that good. I need fronts as well, time to get the negotiating hat on

The best bit is a god-almighty donut/burnout sesh on the old rears - better get the camcorder primed. Then again, a new clutch at 6k might put paid to that idea lol!!

thanks for all your responses so far!

Not necessarily...

Have you tried these guys:

www.polleymotorsport.co.uk/tyres/msport/tyres-m.asp

Official Yoko importers and damn fine guys

PS And on the offchance they can't beat 180 a tyre, have a word with them about the other models...
