Colours - BMW, Mercedes & Porsche

Ok so I'll be the first to put my hand up and say all my cars bought to date have been black on black.
That said back in 2000 I paid a deposit on a Blue Boxster with Savannah Hide even then the roof had to be black and so
I was happy to withdraw due to an imminent house purchase.
Anyway I'm looking at a new or used car purchase and I want a change. I'm looking at a green or a lovely orange exterior colour with a non black interior colour to compliment it. The problem is the car configurators I have used all seem to fall down on the external / internal colour choice.
Has anyone been successful with their colour choice outside the usual black / grey / white / silver / red & blue?

I'm not sure what the question is?? If you order a new car from any of those manufacturers I'm pretty sure most of their models will have a choice of exterior and interior colours. You'd probably not have to look too hard to find a used one either, depending on your other criteria.
I find black on black quite boring but then my car is Metallic Purple with a White interior so that probably tells you a bit about my personal taste...

The purple / ivory is lovely
not sure about the green / orange
what I have experienced recently is that on the configurators there seems to be a limited colour palette.
Mercedes dont seem to offer any greens or oranges
BMW off it on some cars
Porches configurator seems a little confusing and then jump from offering 6 or 7 colours to custom without anything in the middle and then the interior leather options are then restricted.
Out of the 3 I would say BMW is the best and Mercedes the worst.

For a wider range of external colours, BMW have individual paints (like Porsche PTS I think) that you can view here:

No idea on cost though. Interiors will depend on the model I guess, but the M3 has at least five different colours last time I looked, plus extended vs full leather which often adds more colour to the dash & door cards.

Mercedes has the Designo range that caters for this, BMW has their Individual range you just have to dig a little deeper.not sure about the green / orange
