PCGB TRACK DAY DONINGTON PARK - TUESDAY 15TH
Discussion
Yes the day really quietened down in the afternoon but there were parts of the day that I thought were quite busy ...
There were some very fast cars there and I am guessing it could have been a bit of a challenge for some of the slower / less experienced / new drivers ... who if they waited into the afternoon would I am sure have had a lot more fun.
I think with the latest GT cars the range of performance has become much wider so I do wonder if we are moving more towards sessioned days .... or half days driving but full days looking at cars and chatting when not on track ?
I know that Steve Kevlin did try a day where he asked people not to overtake from the lift for Craners right through to Macleans, but for many that just ruined the circuit.
The good news was that the weather was good, there were no red flags and apart from tyre wear and the fuel cost at 50p per litre more than supermarket, it was another tremendous day.
