Hi,

Could anyone recommend a part supplier for Porsche items. I am looking to add new side decals to my car.

I’ve tried emailing, phoning and DMing Design911, but their phone rings out, they don’t reply to emails, and fill you with bullsh*t excuses on social media… and then don’t answer your DM.

Surely another supplier in the UK?

For Decals Highgate House are the best place to go…..lots of satisfied customers on here. Ignore the very dated website, Rick is incredibly helpful and knowledgable.

Depending on what model your car is, Porsche offer some decals through tequipment - maybe worth a look https://tequipment-finder.porsche.com/uk/982/718%2...

Never had a problem with D911 - also contacted them
Easily a few times, including last week to get a replacement part sent out

They’re not cheap, but I’ve found them convenient. Shame you’ve had a bad experience with them

That's surprising. They normally respond pretty quickly. I got a reply to an email query yesterday within a couple of hours, so something is working.

They aren't the cheapest but with the PCGB discount the prices are pretty reasonable and they have always been reliable/quick for me. Hopefully OPs experience is out of the ordinary.

I should add that in my albeit limited experience Design911 are the only place I have come across that offer the breadth of parts from a single source. I have had a few parts from the Heritage Parts Centre, Spyderperformance and Frazerpart but they don't have the breadth/depth of parts. Also - as mentioned above there is 9apart. Beyond that for generic parts - suspension/brakes/exhaust there is a plethora of the usual suspects.

If you know the part number or don't mind digging thru the parts diagrams give Eurospares a try. I've found them to be significantly cheaper than Design911 for OEM parts in the past.

D911 are quite expensive, normally more than the OPC, so often just calling the local OPC and asking nicely for a few quid off will work better.

For decals, i’ve always used Design Stuff Online
https://www.designstuffonline.co.uk/vehicle_graphi...

The decals are decent quality, i’ve jet washed the crap out of them and they’ve always held firm. The fact you can custom up your own design is quite handy, I had them make a GTS 4.0 decal for the back of my Cayman.

Try bell and colvil (deroure). Bought a few things from them, they were competitive on price and pretty good at getting back to me https://www.bellandcolvill.co.uk/parts-shop

Have to say though that I’ve also used D911, they were pretty good in my experience

x2

Website looks crap, but the decals are good. Most importantly, they are accurate copies of the original Porsche side decals. There are some aftermarket decal suppliers that get it a bit wrong. But Designstuffonline produces accurate decals.

Have you tried Eurospares.co.uk ? I used them for some cruise control parts on my 987.2 and they seemed good
