I didn't think the 4X4 Wagons were even available yet. Could it be some kind of prototype sent over here for testing and then to be sold?..

The wagons as far as I know have been around for a couple of years now...

Ugly ain't they... only a mother could love them, but umm, I love holden's, but it is just ugly.

There is also a standard wagon i.e. not an Avalanche.
Unique Cars issue 250 July/August '05 page 108.
Ad reads : Commodore VT series 2, V8 auto wagon, (estate car to us poms) 5.7 litre, one lady owner, 71000kms, HSV body kit, chrome wheels, etc etc. This one is white...bit different! but it's quite horny in its own way. Would stand out like a sore thumb over here. Seen a few of them in there before, so unusual but not exactly rare. Six pot Commodore wagons aren't uncommon 'down under'.
Sorry I can't post the pic of it.

I agree with you Rob, am so ashamed of my unaustralian and unholden answer that I had to crack open my bundy, wear my Monaro top and hit the HSV site to try and redeem myself..haha

Hi Jase
re: the VT wagon, Ted isn't keen on us advertising cars for sale on here but it's somewhere between AUD
26-28K.

That is quite a bit compared to Aussie prices isn't it? I have seen a few V8 SS estates out here and some Adventuras and they sound great. A very nice Q car indeed!

Yeah not a bad price for an 05 model HSV 4x4 compared to some of the 00 HSV prices around still. Tempting, other than the low sales volumes in Oz, which might mean its lifeline is limited.

rich, they are alot more than that... that price was for a VT - 1997-00 or so.

It's on an 05 plate. How did they ESVA it?? Thought it was a non-starter bringing in an HSV unless it came over from Aus. with its owner, who had owned it for six months or whatever.
Do they know something we all don't?
