Another new wedge owner
Discussion
Well guys, I've done it. I've got me a 350i wedge :D
I did post a message up a couple of weeks ago (the wedge has a dodgy 2nd gear syncro) but after looking at 8 other wedges, despite needing £700 spending to sort the box out, its generally very good. I could leave the box until next year as personally I think it goes into gear fine (far better than my Audi tt :curse:) but will probably get done over the next month or so.
A week and 400 miles gone by so far without a single hitch I'm just waiting for delivery of a Steve Heath bible to make sure she is perfect.
Just a couple of questions please?
1. If I were to swap the wheels, what fitment do I need - i.e. what other wheels will fit?
2. Where can I get hold of a wiring diagram - will this be in the Steve Heath Bible?
Many thanks in advance.
Lee.

Lee, the hubs are MK2 Granada and so were the original lattice wheels. The first lattice wheels were 14" and then later upgraded to 15". There is a bigger tyre choice for the 15" wheels. Not sure what was fitted to the later cars other than OZ, but these seem difficult to get hold of now.
Welcome to the clinically insane Wedge brigade
Lee hope you are enjoying it so far, good to see there`s another local wedge.
Good luck with your suspension fitting Andy hope the parts are all correct this time around mate?- mines just gone in for "investigation" as I think the front shocks have been shot and possibly broken a spring, or something!
(judging ny the noises it makes!)
Anyway hope you enjoy your week off
and we see the beast back out on the road again soon.

Many thanks for the prompt replies
So, Granada hubs? Therefore, in theory, any Ford 5 stud fitment should do the trick (provided correct tyres to keep same rolling radius etc. I will have a look on flea bay.
On the subject of goodies, anyone got a rear spoiler for sale?...
I imagine you would need to make sure the wheel offsets were ok - others who post here would be far more knowledgable than me about this though.
TET mouldings do the rear SE style spoilers - I'm sure a quick internet search would throw up their web site.

Are you still waiting for parts Andy?
