We've got it here in Peterborough. I really think the sky is going to fall in :D

Almost ten minutes of constant thunder and lightning. It's absolutely amazing! Curtains open in darkness admiring it

[small]Unless it takes out all my electrical stuff! [/small]

Is it moving south? Hope so...so far in South Beds we have had some flashes and the odd rumble but nothing to get too excited about.

I love thunderstorms me....

Ahem...taken in Peterborough about 20 minutes ago...

It looked and sounded like one one of the strikes hit somewhere to the east of the Ortons, there were sirens sounding.

Might be an idea to turn your PC off then - two people I know had their modems fried by lightning.

This site is pretty good for tracking.

We had a few flashes in the distance to the North but nothing that disrupted dinner in the pub garden and driving home with the roof off. Had a meesage from a mate who has just got home to Northampton who said the M1 was a nightmare - good view of the storm but lots of outside lane aquaplaning and torrential rain.
