Fiat 500 Suspension Noise

Hi, I have been hearing a lightweight rattle in the driver’s side suspension when going over rough road. I believe I have traced it to the white plastic top piece of the shock absorber dust cover. It has dropped down and is loose as shown in ‘photo 1’ on the driver’s side but is fixed tight up in the mount on the passenger side as shown in ‘photo 2’.

My question is, does anyone know how it is fixed in place? I can’t seem to get it to stay in place to match the passenger side so it makes a rattle on the lightest bump.

That's part of the dust boot if it's dosnt stay up it's probably going to need. Anew one which means shocks and spring off

Ah, I see, thank you. Do you know how it was originally held in place? Is it just a push fit?
