Porsche Servicing Beds/Herts

Hello Fellow PHers

I recently decided to put a big tick on my bucket list and I picked myself up a 986 Boxster S, I am loving the car so far but it is due for a service very soon. So I was wondering if anybody had any recommendations for workshops in the Bedfordshire/Hertfordshire area.

I can see there is a wiki page on providers but I found it a bit tricky to work out if they were actual recommendations or more of just a general list.

Also my car had full main dealer service record up until its last service at a specialist, so any thoughts on going back to main dealer against continuing with an independent also welcome.

RPM Technik in Herts would be my recommendation. Have the factory Porsche diagnostic kit should your car need it but more importantly I think they’re very trustworthy, have a huge amount of experience and reasonably priced.

AMS Porsche are brilliant and very good with 986’s, hourly rate is very reasonable too.

I have used them for both my 987 and my current 981 without issue.

They are based just near Welwyn.
