Been back in my TVR for a couple of days (must let it go), 996 in garage having new alternator fitted. Got me thinking about tuning the Porsche. Seems like there are two kits, the turbo performance Eaton kit and the VF engineering Vortech kit. Any one driven any or has views on either? The VF kit says it's 8 hours to fit, don't know about the other

The VF kit is probably better engineered and makes more power at the top end, the TPC kit gives great torque from low down and less top end. Both have their minor issues but I will not discuss them online.
