The design language has a hint of MING about it.

I like that, looks maybe a little thick side on but the overall design is nice.

Strong money for a Timex though no?

The back is lovely. It looks like they put all their effort into the back and then ran out of design budget for the front so decided to get their inspiration from a Swatch.

I agree, it looks nice and recent Timex watches have been nice quality but £750 for a Timex seems...well, I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t just seen it.

I've just skimmed an article on it, first Swiss-made Timex for 40 years and uses a Sellita movement hence the price bump. Also a mixed metal case which I didn't realise (Ti and Stainless Steel).

Need to see one in person I think to judge it properly.

I think that looks pretty good to me and I'd happily wear it. I like the simple elegance, sculpted lugs, 38 mm diameter, and titanium/steel construction. Agree that it is perhaps a little thick, but I imagine that a slimmer automatic movement would make it even more expensive.

As much as I try not to be a watch snob I find myself agreeing with this!

My daily is an automatic Timex and it was around £220 when new a few years ago I think. I thought that was about right given it was a limited edition.
