Ebay scam, or was it?
Discussion
Selling an apple watch, the winner paid via eBay then says can we meet up. I live 130 miles from him, I said yes but bank transfer. I then realised he had paid.
He says he is away from home but can I post it to a post office.
I say can only send it to registered address. I cancel it.
The scam I guess I send it post office, he picks it up says never got it and gets refund, correct?

If paid online, and collected in person - there’s no proof of delivery? At least with PayPal.
There's a barcode/QR code that apparently gets generated so that the seller scans it from the buyers phone or printout to confirm collection with eBay/PayPal transactions or cash on collection to prove it was collected. I think it's more so that eBay/PayPal get their cut.Gassing Station | The Lounge | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
