Yes.
Looks like Spitfire Vb AB910 & Hurricane IIc PZ865 (the final Hurricane built)
They were displaying both days at Rhyl Airshow, so overnighted at Blackpool.

I would so love BBMF to do that for a larf.

Mind you, RAF were still flying the PR.19 Spits now with BBMF, for met flights when the Bear first entered service in 1956.

Any idea why they would overnight at a civy airport, when another RAF station (Woodvale) is in the general vicinity? Can't Woodvale handle these types of a/c? Is it a size thing (Woodvale having only Air Experience / UAS types) or what? Is it easier to manage the spotters that would turn up? Pilots prefer the digs? Living nearby I've never understood this.

Fuel, ATC and fire cover.

Not many of the remaining RAF stations have AVGAS supply on site now, plus many (such as Woodvale being UAS etc) will not have weekend fire cover/ATC etc.
