Fax & Printer all in one (advice please)

Hi all, once again I defer to the fountain of knowledge that is PH.

Does anyone have a recommendation for an all in one fax & printer that doesn't break the bank.

IMHO before looking at a solution look at the cost of the refills.

I used to have a canon one. Refills were 99p for B+W, 2 squid for colour

Lexmark - X1180 printer, scanner, fax and teasmaid. around £50 ish. Super and cheap.

Dell have dropped the price of their jack-of-all-trades scanner/printer/fax/teasmade from £99 to £79, no idea if it is any good though.

AFAIK Dell refills are almost expensive as Lexmark ones...

I got one of these for about £85 three months ago from Viking. Excellent machine, very fast printing and good quality scan & copying - quiet too.

We've got the HP 7140xi which has proved to be very good so far. I seem to recall it was significantly more expensive than £90 though.
