CAN ANYONE RECOMMEND A BODY REPAIR SHOP IN SURREY I'VE GOT A FOOTBALL SIZE DENT IN MY 996 REAR BUMPER THAT NEEDS REPAIRING.

The boys at GT 1 in Chertsey sorted the rear PU out on mine some years ago - the body shop they use did a fantastic job

A friend at work had an altercation with a horsebox in his Boxster a couple of weeks ago, and thats gone up to a bodyshop in Slough somewhere which is Porsche accredited. He said it was quite an impressive place that had loads of Porkers and Ferraris etc there all in need of straightening out, so might be a safe bet. I can find out the name of the place if you like?

The place in Slough is Solus. Porsche Centre West London uses them and I have had work done there which has been very fine and comes with Porsche warranty.

I believe the place in Slough is actually Bodytechnics who are an approved repair centre for Porsche. They also do Ferraris and the odd Lambo. I had to employ their services recently on my beloved 997S and they did a terrific job. I can thoroughly recommend them. By the way, they will arrange to pick up your car from home if you dont fancy going all the way to Slough

Had my 993 done by Premier Panel Skills at Aldershot (tel [phone]) did a good job of matching 'Polar Silver' and not too dear. Saw a few 996s waiting to be done....
