Getting from A to Z - a fun (?) alphabet car game...
Discussion
How far up the alphabet can you get with cars you've owned by using the first letter of the marque? For example, Ford is an F, Seat is an S, etc. For purposes of the rules let's say that any doubles can be used as either, so Aston Martin can be either A or M (but not both!).
I can only get as far as the letter C, reckon most will get stuck on the letter E!
Alfa Romeo GTV
BMW 328
Citroen Berlingo
Side game: How many letters of the alphabet have you owned. For me that is 11 (a,b,c,f,h,m,n,p,r,s,v). Reckon that someone might make 20?

Damn, early fail there! How many letters do you have overall?
Yes, epic fail but despite having had over 30 cars I've often had multiple models by the same manufacturer - I'm on my 7th and 8th BMWs now! And a few have had the same first letter, as in 7 Fords and 2 Fiats, 3 Mercedes, one Mazda and an MG, 3 Vauxhalls and 2 VWs.
Probably about 6 letters at best.

Only three again, listed the first when I have had more than one
Audi A4 Avant
BMW e30 M3
Citroen BX (slight cheat as a short lived company car, awful)
Then
Ford Escort Mk 1
Porsche 911
Renault Clio 200
Talbot Sunbeam (could have had this as C as well as I have had a few and some were earlier Chryslers)
Vauxhall Cavalier Mk 3
Volkswagen Passat
There have been loads of company owned Fords, Vauxhalls and Toyotas in there limiting my options a bit over the years

And I’m not buying a Citroen and a Dacia just for a daft game…
How about a Cizeta and a Datsun?I can do :
Audi/Alpina
BMW
Ford
Honda
Kia
Lexus
Merc/Maserati/Mini
Nissan
Renault (for one week)
Smart/Subaru/Skoda
Toyota/TVR/Tesla
VW/Vauxhall
Odd how some letters have loads of manufacturers.
This is extremely similar to a game we play while driving … you have to spot a car with make or model starting with the next letter of the alphabet.
We only allow actual make or model, no trim or similar options and only “real” words … so no C200 for c … though we do allow X-Type and X-Trail for x.
The real problem is w … only the Suzuki WagonR or Renault Wind there and both rather rare!

Do I get a special award for only ever owning makes of car starting with "S"?.
It was through chance rather than design, though to change makes and continue the trend next time I change the car, I'd have to either buy a Ssangyong or something very old neither of which appeals very much.
