Now, this is a classic style PH topic.

Neighbour of mine has started a Waste Disposal service over the last year and bought a 3.5 ton Cage lorry, standard MO. He's parked it considerately since he got it (we live in a dead end road so has space at the end where its out of the way enough to not bother anyone really)but over the last couple of months there are now 2 of them, and this week a long wheelbase van has appeared, so 3 large Commercial vehicles, all on the street. Annoying, but still.

Now here's the problem, both Cage lorry's are full of crap and haven't been unloaded for weeks now, he's using the van to refill them and they are literally sitting rotting in the street and aren't quite as sensitively parked as before. Other neighbours have tried to have a quiet word but got a full eff off, I can park where I like (he can) but I'm now a bit concerned as to the stuff on them, rats etc. Mrs Tiga mentioned it as well to him and he's said that one of them is broken so can't be moved etc and has been there for nearly a month now. Could be true, could be bullst.

So collectively we've tried the nicely nicely approach and got very little back, now I'm wondering on the actual legality of parking 2 full 3.5T Cage lorry's on a residential street, its starting to look like a depot now.

ETA - Mods, if there's a better forum for this, then move it.

I would start by contacting the environment agency. It sounds as though what your neighbour is doing is illegal.
