Tepid (mad) Dave has some and reckons you gain a lot more "feel" than riding in leathers , and im looking to get some , they have kevlar woven in so you will still break your legs but you wont scratch them

I have Draggin' Cargo Jeans and they're fantastic! They're warm, comfortable, stylish (2 workmates have commented on them without even realising they were bike jeans) and as Denny here says, you gain loads of 'feel' which means you can ride harder. I also find they grip the tank better than goretex and only having one layer of clothing (instead of jeans+goretex trousers) is far more comfortable.

I have a pair of the black jeans which I use when going into town or to a mates house. They are great but still prefer leathers when going out for a hoon.

on a similar note guys. do you think more high street style jeans, levis etc, but restitched & armoured would be popular ?

Prossibly, but the cut wouldn't be ideal and I suspec they would have to be very expensive to be profitable.

yes definately but. on the Armoured Jeans I have seen you always get extra horizontal stitching above and below the knee which would spoil the effect.

Thats why cargo pants look a better option IMO.

I found that the armour pretty quickly came loose and fell into my boots so I don't use it.

Also have a look at hood, they have a greater amount of protective lining.
Havent got either myself, but am going for some hoods after getting knocked of in my lee coopers last week...

www.hoodjeans.co.uk

The entire inside is kevlar lined, but their cargo pants are made from a kind of plastic material rather than denim, hence I went for Draggin' Jeans.
