BMW 1 Series front bumper finisher removal

Hoping for some guidance if anyone is able to help.
My daughter damaged the front bumper finisher on her 2015 1 series. She has got a replacement, albeit black not blue, temporary for now.
Can anyone tell me how to get the existing finisher off? I know there are a number of clips which allow the finisher to slot in and clip home, but can’t see how to reverse this.
