No Reverse gear

Had the car 4 weeks, the smile truly wiped from my face.....

Car will not engage reverse, waved goodbye to the Silver Beauty strapped to the top of a transporter. The dealership promised to put things right under the warranty. Hope to have my pride and joy back for the weekend..

Anyone encountered a similar problem?

Not heard of it, but the 6-speed gearchange can be a problem if it's not adjusted correctly - so here's hoping it's just fallen out of adjustment for you.

Probably the linkage needs adjustment, don't fret.

The Dealerships initial response was a linkage problem, based on my desciption over the phone .Fingers crossed...

Yep, definately the linkage, had the same problem with my 3R just two days into ownership! Easy fix though and never happened since
