Most fun? Ford Sierra Sapphire Cosworth. Wasn't very reliable or economical though. Best combo of fun + reliability + economy is my Golf R.

Maserati GranTurismo S with the MC Shift. Usable, spacious, reliable and fun in most environments.

I have used mine daily for nearly 2 years and cannot think of a better car car to use for work, family, euro trips.

up! GTI for me. Fits in little gaps in the traffic, decently fun at sensible speeds and a sound that still makes me giggle when I put my foot down.

Genuinely think it would be my up! GTI, mainly because you can use most of what it has, most of the time, without too much fear of ending without a licence. It's economical, small, reasonably roomy inside, and much better than you'd think on a motorway.

Mk1 Ford Focus 1.6

I've yet to drive a car that is as boring on paper as it is great to drive.

Probably my RX-8. Was cheap to buy and insure.

Front engine, RWD, over 200bhp, can get 4 people in it, and revs to over 9000 which is hilarious.

The micra not the m3. I drove the k11 at 10/10ths everywhere; it was hilarious. The m3 was dull in comparison. The micra was essence of driving

My Skoda Citigo, for the same reasons. Perfect for daily driving, happy to carry 4 people and luggage, can put bikes in the back, can always get it parked, cheap as chips to run and never breaks down. It's a quarter of the price of the Up GTI and it's not really £10k slower, but it's probably a little less fun, I'd need to drive one to decide if the extra speed was more fun than the extra maintaining of momentum that you have to do to keep mine up to speed.

Bought a 1.3 to put the engine in my Mini, nearly didn't because driving it home was such good fun, some rust put paid to its reprieve, though I sold the shell to someone that was going banger racing with a 2l Primera engine, so it got to live it's best life after I was done with it.

£450 this one cost, interior looked like it had never been sat in, not bad for 100k miles plus. The boot was full of Magnet Trade pens from the guys work, I'm still using them, bought it in about 2016 smile

Never used to daily my MC Shift, but I did use almost any excuse to drive her to work, so probably used it most days that I didn't have to do more than 50 miles.

VX220 turbo or Lotus Elise 111R pretty obvious why they are go karts for the road. Being young at the time I didn’t care if the windows leaked/ heater wasn’t the best etc!

Wouldn’t like to use one for my current commute but a short b road blast is still use one.

Fiesta ST Mk 7 with the 215 Mountune upgrade.

Compact, fast, easy to park, just basically good at everything, great fun and cheap to run.

My first car, 1976 Mini Clubman 1100.

Nothing since has come close in terms of fun handling and the ability to exploit it.

My Elise, which is why it's been my daily driver for 16 years now. smile

Slow enough to use at least some of the performance but fast enough to be fun, controls are wondering, handling is (mostly) wonderful, the roof comes off, it's nice to know that it's value is at least not falling so it's incredibly cheap to run,... can't really think of anything I could replace it with.
