Why on earth did they feel the need to dub the sounds of the car engines that the characters were drivin?-one of them had a Nissan 4x4 thing and it sounded like a mustang!!
Very odd

I would not go as far as amazing . I watched it as Mrs had a desire to.
I struggle with these type of series , not a fan of intrigue type mysteries .I think so far the plot is pretty much predictable , a bit spoilt by the tasters for next episode suggesting a plot twist . As Mrs is keen to follow the series I will sit back and spend my time getting drawn in and picking holes in it , I know sad !

I enjoyed it although a bit disappointed it's over 4 weeks and not 4 night's like the usual CH5 dramas. Also the episodes are only available on My5 after they've aired.

Did anyone see last nights one?

I do hope that the scummy loan shark gets done. I'd love to see him get properly f*cked up (he's playing the character really well)

It was filmed in Ireland from what I understand

I’m afraid I’ve given up on it. None of the characters deserve anything. I just hope that the loan shark gets what’s coming.
I’ll miss Gaynor Faye’s lovely smile, though.

You made the right choice as the ending wasn't worth the wait.

Agreed! A total let down! The first episode was good then it went downhill.

Also, the cgi fire was terrible!

Would have been better if Nathan and Glen had been killed in the fire.

The ownership of that estate will probably take years to resolve.

That would have been a better ending.

Absolute LOL moment right near the end for me was "This doesn't change anything' to Stan, who just saved everyones lives.... Brilliant and all in a non-stressed, non-smoke filled voice.

On the whole, I still enjoyed it enough.
