does anyone service their cerb themself? I am fully capeable of doing it to mine when i get it, but was wondering if anyone else does it? as it will prob affect the re-sale value, but i dont really want to pay someone to do a job i know i can do-and prob better as it would be my car!

I do most things on the car but it is also serviced by a great indie, for the stamp in the book.

It just helps keep the labor charges down.

I am looking at servicing the car myself, as my local indie (Joolz at joospeed) has now closed. Joolz does however, supply cerbera servicing kits. Email him from his profile 'trackcar'.

Do all my own servicing, repairs, mods, upgrades etc. etc.

At the end of the day, it's only a car. TBH I don't know why people insist on paying a fortune to keep the service history.

The only person that knows my car is done right is me.

I do bits and pieces myself, but not full servicing as I don't have a garage.

My car is serviced by Andy at APM and even though I'm not worried about the service history as such (doubt I'll sell the car) its nice to get an expert to look over the car every now and then. Andy often spots things that I don't.

totally agree with crazycats! Ive always done everything on my own cars as it is my trade! Including fully rebuilding engines, ive got all the tools and a decent sized garage, so i dont see why i should take it to someone else to just do a quick service?! i also agree tho that a fully stamped service book is attractive for re-sale...anyone got a tvr stamp lying around? heh heh!
