..well the dog's new toy actually.

I'll attempt to get some arty ones at some stage, but by then it may well be very muddy (which of course, it should be).

Sorry but that tractor is in totally the wrong place. Everyone knows that should be sitting outside of the private school.

Shame it won't stay so shiny for very much longer if you use it properly! Looks fantastic with that number plater as well!

K9 TV - a dog in a frock ???

I saw K90RAL on a Volvo estate once, I assumed that the lady inside was a dog's dentist

For God's sake, Carter, your car is naked. Get some mud on it and post a proper image!.

Was it airlifted by helicopter to it's present position? Even the tyre tread is immaculate!

Amen, Brother.

Gorgeous 90 Steve, what happened to the old one?

A friend of mine has recently got a 110 double cab which he let me have a play in. Whilst the TD5 is a cracking engine, the gearbox and clutch were horrendously stiff (and my old 2.5TD was bad enough I thought) and I found the throttle a bit switchlike, which was completely the opposite of my old 90. Apparently the stiffness was a problem which should've been rectified but what do you think of yours?

It hasn't really....just some silver paint on the black bits and clear lenses.

Although, that's quite a big deal for a Defender

Blimey some of you lot don't half nag I promise I'll get it muddy when it rains! And as for Farmer Carter...

No V8 option available, so it's the *cough* TD5 - but having owned a V8 in the past the only difference is the noise, the MPG and the reliability. The good the bad and the ugly in fact. Traded in the old 90 CSW - and am amazed at the toys on this one... air con/ electric windows/ central locking on a defender! Still too new to comment on gearbox and clutch - but feel way better than the old one - for both read 'porridge' (and the springs actually work on this one).

Not wishing to bypass leg end status - I have to fess up thet the number plate has had one letter removed (for internet reasons) - however it is a very nice letter

Charlie couldn't give a toss that it's new, although it smells too clean, but he approves of his continued window on the world

I was too when I stepped inside the 110. Coming from an old G reg 90 it was a bit of a shock. Things move about without shifting clunky levers and I must say the air conditioning was a fantastic shock, it was somewhat potent. So I'll be having that when I get one. I had a feeling the stiffness may have been down to it being new but he'd done a fair few miles in it I admit, the 'box in the TD was a bit like stirring porridge but the clutch was lovely.

The traction control is VERY impressive. With mud terrain tyres I think the new defender is pretty unstoppable.

Very nice Steve, just a little bit newer and cleaner than my one!

(Pics taken on private land during a competition)

I'd suggest you stay clear of a few lanes on Exmoor at this time of year though, T-cut isn't quite enough to get all this out!

And yes of course that was a legal byway with vehicular access!
