London bomber: Text in full

Mohammad Sidique Khan carried out the Edgware Road bombing
The full text of the videotape of Mohammad Sidique Khan, one of the four 7 July bombers, which was aired on Arabic television channel al-Jazeera and in which he explains his motives.
I'm going to keep this short and to the point because it's all been said before by far more eloquent people than me.

And our words have no impact upon you, therefore I'm going to talk to you in a language that you understand.

Our words are dead until we give them life with our blood.

I'm sure by now the media's painted a suitable picture of me, this predictable propaganda machine will naturally try to put a spin on things to suit the government and to scare the masses into conforming to their power and wealth-obsessed agendas.

I and thousands like me are forsaking everything for what we believe.

Our driving motivation doesn't come from tangible commodities that this world has to offer.

Our religion is Islam - obedience to the one true God, Allah, and following the footsteps of the final prophet and messenger Muhammad... This is how our ethical stances are dictated.

Your democratically elected governments continuously perpetuate atrocities against my people all over the world.

It is not known when the videotape, aired on 1 September, was made
And your support of them makes you directly responsible, just as I am directly responsible for protecting and avenging my Muslim brothers and sisters.

Until we feel security, you will be our targets. And until you stop the bombing, gassing, imprisonment and torture of my people we will not stop this fight.

We are at war and I am a soldier. Now you too will taste the reality of this situation.
A second part of the tape was less clear, but he could be heard saying:
I myself, I myself, I make dua (pray) to Allah... to raise me amongst those whom I love like the prophets, the messengers, the martyrs and today's heroes like our beloved Sheikh Osama Bin Laden, Dr Ayman al-Zawahri and Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and all the other brothers and sisters that are fighting in the... of this cause.

With this I leave you to make up your own minds and I ask you to make dua to Allah almighty to accept the work from me and my brothers and enter us into gardens of paradise.
Words fail me as to how anyone could have their mind so twisted that they believe this is right. :furious:

No gardens of paradise for him, he'll be gently simmering in a large vat of hellfire and brimstone...

Reminds me of an interview undertaken just after July 7th in my very home city of Bradford.

When asked by a journalist as to what he thought of the atrocities commited in the name of his religion, the Muslim (note Muslim & not Asian) youth replied "I am not a British Muslim, I am merely a Muslim who happens to live in Britain".

Scary thoughts.

[tongueincheek]

Shame he didn't appear on Big Brother... he might have been deported before this atrocity...

The footage I saw looked like those spoof interviews Armando Ianucci used to do. They were so cut about and edited I fully expevcted him to be wearing different clothes in the next paragraph...

Is it just me, or is this twerp incredibly eloquent?

I guess this just goes to show that it is not just the folks in the slums, with nothing to live for, that are easily brainwashable.

This chap sounds like he has a significant degree of education and exposure, and his standard of English appears to be higher than that of the average Brit.

Quite scary really.

What is most shocking is his decision to alienate himself from his own nationality. In his mind, he is not British, he is a Moslem. All Moslems are his brothers (except, presumabley, any Moslems who don't agree with his extremist point of view).

I wonder how many more "Ex-British" Moslems there are?

Bizarre!

But if one is not "British" what is the point of living in Britain? Surely it would be nicer to go live somewhere else where everyone else shared your worldview, outlook on life and so on? If its so damn hateful living in one's current environment why not move to someplace "better?".

Why blow stuff up instead?

Blowing stuff up is the recourse of whackjobs not British people, or rational Moslem people (even the one's who aren't "British"!).

Moslem people deserve respect same as Christian people same as atheists. British people deserve respect same as Palestinian people same as Pakistani people.

Whackjobs deserve SO19.

Well, I only know what I get told by the news. Probably plenty of nasty sh*t going on by both sides all the time, but no one knows.

Who really cares anyway. It's out of our control, may as well just get on. Whatever we get told is tainted, whatever they get told is tainted.

Tis a war of the powers at each side of this conflict, not of the innocents involved.

Best to just let Bush and Bliar get on with whatever they are upto as they ain't gonna listen to us anyway.

Not really since what he's saying makes no sense.

I am no more "directly responsible" than he is. If he chooses to live in this country then that is his democratically elected government as well.

There should be no let up in deporting / imprisoning anyone that supports terrorism. If it were up to me I would execute the lot of them so they can join their "brothers" burning in hell sooner rather than later.

How do you define "supporting" terrorism?

And, if someone is to be deported or imprisoned for such an act, is it because they are "suspected" of "supporting" terrorism or because they have been charged and convicted in court?

I have no problem with the latter but major problems with the former.

What gets me is: Where was this cretin when Sadam Hussein was ruler, torturing and gassing his own Muslims?

Him, along with all the other Muslim tyrants who are nothing but "warlords" in reality vieing for "top-spot" in their murderous endevours using religion to "control" the masses.

One thing this stupid so and so didn't see.

It's not the likes of: Osama Bin Laden, Dr Ayman al Zawahri or Abu Musab al Zarqawi that are "blowing them selves up".......Nah! they get other stupid Fechers to do that.................

What a Pielark!!!!........

Best you can say is: "he won't do it again!".....Good riddance.
