For melody, tempo, lyrics and most inspiring, whose anthem do you like? Or is the default setting for everyone to like their own?

If the Rugby World Cup is anything to go by, they've all sounded quite shyte so far hehe

France, GSTK is down the bottom, but not as bad as Australia

Star spangled banner can really be belted out, unlike the mournful tunes most countries seem to have chosen. Flower of Scotland a good shout though.

England should have Jerusalem as it's own anthem, while maintaining GSTK for the UK as a whole.

Only Scotland doesn’t actually have its own National Anthem, it’s officially GSTK, which is no sodding use if playing England.

Another vote for the Frogs from me. The UFC was from France last week and the whole arena belted it out when Ciryl Gane was fighting, it sounded absolutely electric on the TV.

Russia, Italy and France have always been the faves for me. Though perhaps Russia a bit sombre compared with the other two.

Flower of Scotland is a dirge. Nowhere near the best.

Land Of My Fathers is the best - partly because the Welsh sing it so well, The Marseillaise is brilliant and the Italian one is bonkers but great too.
Russia (Boooo!) , USA , and Germany all very grandiose and impressive too.

Quite what the French are doing to all these great anthems at the Rugby World Cup is mystifying, they all sound terrible

French: great.

Shamefully I quite like the Star Spangled Banner. But not as performed at multiple sporting events where the vocalist decides to sing it in the style of a human theremin.

Also quite partial to Oh Canada and The Soldier’s Song (Ireland).

GSTK is a bit of a dirge, unfortunately.

You can sing literally any song lyrics to the German national anthem. Try it...

For that reason, because I find it hilarious, I'm going Germany.

Surprised to see the Italian one so well liked. Always seems a bit silly to me. La Marseillaise is a good one.

If I was picking one for England it would be Land of Hope and Glory.

Dirge has two meanings. Either miserable or mournful.
