Looks like it relates to Fuel economy(C) Wet performance(A) and noise (B-73db).

Although take EU labelling, especially in terms of grip, wet grip....with a huge pinch of salt.

It seems makers do whatever testing they do, and can proclaim almost any results.

Because some of the cheap chinese ( and other ) rubbish out there may come with decent labels....but are just plain rubbish.

I've heard it said that the 'budget' brands list their best ever (fluke?) results whereas the 'quality' brands list their consistent (ie repeatable) results.
