No wonder inflation is’nt coming down. Is this a staple in that grocery basket they use to determine RPI ? £2.20 a can in a Morrisons Daily yikes. Stuff used to be about 80p a can / 3 for £2 not that long ago in most supermarkets.

It’s also crap! The fresh soups a lot of supermarkets sell in the chilled aisle are way better, and by the sound of it not much more expensive, if at all.

I used to be quite partial to a tin of Beef and Veg 'Big Soup' but it isn't worth it now.

It is Yorkshire Provender for me now, proper posh soup for not much more.

Morrisons Daily - is that like a local convenience store - co-op type thing? Convenience costs money, local co-op is selling a jar of Kenco 200g for £9.50 eek

It is my honest opinion that Heinz tomato cup a soup is better than the canned version, absolutely love it

I bought 5 for £5 in Morrisons today. They had 6 packs of Heinz Tomato soup for around £4

Which? Magazine did a taste test on tomato soup recently and found that the own brand was better anyway so I’ve switched to that from Heinz

This is what seems nuts to me £1.70 a can or 93p a can if you buy 4. I get that there is a discount in buying a larger pack but still.

Personally, I love their Tomato Soup - don’t like any of the brands even Campbell’s. Best for me has be Mullagatawny.

Prices of Heinz tins and other products for that matter have gotten silly in the last couple of months, buying multi deals they work out significantly cheaper but even so.

My favourite is Heinz Scotch Broth. But I found a recipe that resulted in an almost identical tasting soup, about 95% same taste. It required a bag of mixed broth beans from the supermarket and a pressure cooker.

Oh do come on.

Heinz oxtail soup, even if I'm actually dying, this restores.

Heinz is by far the best Tomato soup in the World (unless you want a Consome version). Really adaptable too...............

The Kimchi gives it a nice kick too yum
