Hi all, pulled the trigger on a 2014 Vanquish from Aston Martin of San Diego! I asked the dealer to install the Aston Apple CarPlay/Android Auto upgrade. Initially they said no problem, however, now they are saying that they can't, and that kit is only for the DB9, Vantage, DBS, and Rapide.

Does anyone know why this kit will not work on a Vanquish, and has anyone had good results with a third party kit?

Thank you!

Pretty sure that’s not the case.

Contact Aston Installations - https://astoninstallations.com/ - who will get you sorted. I’m sure they will be able to suggest a local filter for their popular kit.

They’re not far from me and I visited them whilst on the way to somewhere else and they went out of their way to show me around even though I wasn’t expected. Really good set up. If somebody trusted them with a One-77 to upgrade, I think that’s all the confirmation. You need smile

I had Aston Martin dealer install AMi III on my 2015 Vanquish so I would say your dealer is mis-informed. Expensive but hughly recommended.

Apple CarPlay transforms the infotainment and usability.

OP, I would suggest you get in touch with James Hawkes-Reed at Aston Installations. What he doesn’t know about the Gaydon generation cars isn’t worth knowing. If there is a solution available for your car, he will know. Fingers crossed and good luck. BRM.

Indeed the official AMi II ho AMi III pack should be valid for a Vanquish.

You get carplay, andriod auto and a whole lot more besides! I would definately recommend this route over a third party solution.

You should be able to negotiate a significant discount off the rrp.

I've got it in my 2015 Vanquish, fitted by AM Performance in Cheshire.
