Is the Cerbera baby friendly?

Being 6 months pregnant I really do not want to part company with my beloved Cerbera, however I've been told the following:
1) The baby seat that TVR made could only be used for babies over six months old
2) You cannot put a normal baby seat in the passenger seat because the air-flow is such in the cabin that it will blow in the babies face which [apparently] stops the baby breathing
Can you help???

I don't understand the second issue at all. Any young baby would be in a rearward-facing seat, so how could the airflow blow in it's face? Seems inaccurate to me!

Our baby fitted in the front of our Cerb fine from birth to one - you just need to slide the seat all the way back and choose a seat with care. We found a Britax one from Toys R Us to fit really well (about £40-45). Britax are one of the few manufacturers to do crash testing on their seats and I'd recommend them.

The airflow thing is nonsense - just adjust the vents so they don't blow on the baby.

From about one year old you can switch to using the back seat, which makes life far easier.

For the record the Cerbs large boot also swallows smaller pushchairs with ease (our McLaren one fits in with ease).

Same as Peter. Had the littl'un in the front seat with rearward facing Mamas and Papas seat, 3 year old in the back seat behind him and wife behind me (both of us with knees up round our (own) ears..).

Now both in back seat all is good, until that is the littl'uns legs go over the edge of his Britax Freeway......??!!

Gosh your wife must be petit. Unfortunately my other half is 6 foot tall so it's a bit of a job getting him in the back [I didn't realised it was actually allowed]. As I'm a bit of a cow and I don't let him drive my pride and joy it'll just have to be me and the baby in the car - I'll have to find a way of squeezing him in the boot or something!!

Just a small point to consider when answering the original question, consider the name of the car, Cerbera which comes from Cerberus, a vicious beast from Greek mythology, that guarded the entrance to Hades and kept the living from entering the world of the dead. According to Apollodorus, Cerberus was a strange mixture of creatures: he had three heads of wild dogs, a dragon or serpent for a tail, and heads of snakes all over his back. Hesiod, though, says that Cerberus had fifty heads and devoured raw flesh.

Apart from that you should be fine.
