Your partner’s previous partners - how many is too many?
Discussion
Yes it’s one of those late night questions that one ponders when one is in a ruminative mood.
Low mileage cars are generally worth more, right? You would be pretty upset if the low mileage car you were buying turned out to have been clocked wouldn’t you?
How does it work with one’s potential significant other? Is there a number of previous partners that is just too much?

What about a low mileage one that had been on Trackdays every weekend? Low mileage cars are generally worth more, right? You would be pretty upset if the low mileage car you were buying turned out to have been clocked wouldn’t you?

Don't forget the rule of 3, however many your Mrs has said it is, multiply it by 3.
This is a very good guide. For me, I don't worry as I really doubt they've got more notches than me. Also, my gut tells me that the more average a girl is, the higher is the multiple (think x5/ x6) since better looking girls are more discriminating for obvious reasons.
I used to think the past was the past and the future mattered.
But a few different girlfriends taught me that lots of partners tended to go with an unhealthy attitude to relationships. So while it wouldn't bother me for a short term fling (likely be more fun indeed) as a long term relationship it rarely works.
Sure enough the one I settled down with was the polar opposite.

Does the same also apply to those men who put it about, that is should women reject them for too many partners?
I'm of the opinion, could be based on experience, that there's a good chance women like a well used and in demand model. They know it will work and work very hard. GilletteFan said:
