CRV 1.5 Turbo Manual Advice

Just looking for some advice. My wife is looking to buy a 2019 1.5 petrol with a manual box though I'm adamant we should go for an auto as it suits the type of car a little better - does anyone have experience of either?

Also, any issues with the 1.5 Turbo? Not heard much so I assume they are fairly robust as expected!

There have been some reports form the US regarding the reliability of the head gaskets, and some reports of oil dilution with fuel.

The head gasket issues might be as a result of the lower-quality US fuel than what we get over here (i assume that could be causing pre-detonation, raising the combustion chamber pressures higher than esigned for), and the oil dilution issues might be a symptom of lots of short runs.
