Pirelli Corsa System?
Discussion
Is this a different type of tyre from the straight Corsa? The Pirelli website seems to suggest it's a mixture of Corsa Assim on the rears and Corsa Direz on the fronts, is this the case? For purely track work would you use Corsa Assim on the fronts as well as the back?
Original Equipment for the road version of Ferrari 360 Challenge and Porsche GT3, and targeted at the most prestigious car producers, P Zero Corsa System includes P Zero Corsa Direzionale on the front and P Zero Corsa Asimmetrico on the rear for outstanding aquaplaning resistance. Directional front tyres penetrate the water surface, clearing a path for the rears which complete water dispersal for increased driving safety
Anyone know where to find them in the UK?

There are two types of sticky Corsa :
- Corsa System (OEM fit on the RS)
- Corsa Motorsport (although not always known by that by tyre dealers)
The motorsport are a fair bit softer and offer more grip but aren't very good at clearing standing water. The system is less grippy and has a clever design whereby the tread on the front tyres clears water for both the front and back. They should last longer and be safer in the wet, but it will compromise on track performance.
I've got the Systems fitted to my car at the moment and they seem nice and grippy on the road but I've not been on track yet. n.b. I've only tried motorsports on a noble on track and they were awesome when hot.
You may need to get your arches rolled for the motorsports. Maybe even for the systems but we'll have to leave that for someone else to comment on. I believe the RS comes with arches rolled new (unless I got the wrong end of the stick on titanic).

Try Silverline, Warwick
Oops forgot to say where. Elite tyres or er garages, chap called Dave. Forgotten where it is, somewhere in the SE. They do a lot of the RS boys, and are very good about looking after the rims, and making good if somehow something gets damaged.
Wait and one of the titanic boys who's dealt with them will be along.
