Dominic is highly recommended on here. I have sold him several watches and the valuation was never knocked down, he’s excellent.
I shopped around and he was strong on price and easy to deal with.

No harm in dropping him a message.
I'm another who wouldn't darken Watchfinder's door.
They are legit, I've used them in the past to buy a watch and part ex a Tag as part f the process, I did drop my trade in at their Leeds store but they posted my new purchase and all went well.
I tried to buy another watch off them recently and wanted to trade a watch in again but they lowballed me massively this time, offering 50% of what they are selling very similar models for so i've not bothered, the experience has put me off them as a company but if you are happy with their quote then I'd still say they are reliable

Watchfinder gave me a great price for buying a Daytona from me.
Subsequently I got the train to London, went to their office and then they 100% lowballed me
saying they ‘thought’ it was a different model when they gave me a quote-
even though I’d sent them the correct reference and even photos of the watch.
How many punters just accept the lowball I don’t know- but I felt like inserting
the Rolex box up the sales guy’s bottom and simply walked out.
Maybe they have changed but I’d never deal with them again in any capacity.
A friend of mine did buy a Daytona from them - it was only when it arrived and he saw the papers
he realised the watch originally had a different coloured dial……Watchfinder had not bothered mentioning that the more desirable dial was actually a later addition.
They did give him a full refund but it was all a tedious and unnecessary waste of time.

However last time I must have hit our local watch shop at just the right time. In fact I know I did, because I deliberately went in there a couple of months before Christmas, and they offered me top money for everything I was selling.

That was my pretty much my experience as well. As above the only thing saving them from being on my perm sSubsequently I got the train to London, went to their office and then they 100% lowballed me

Just had another look on their website as it popped up in the Google ads, it baffles me that they are trying to sell watches which are now easily available new from AD's, I'm looking specifically at Tudor for over RRP.
I can only assume they have bought a lot of their stock at it's peak and are now trying to make the money in a slipping market without coming out upside down but I think they will struggle.
