Had this delivered this morning from Bridge Classic Cars

There is a wadge of information with the car that i'll be trawling through in good time.
That being said i wondered if anyone on here knew the car?

I'm also after some recommendations for a garage in the West Midlands (i'm in Stafford) that could give the car the once over for me as this is a little older than the Chimaera i had
Sold that around 13 years ago after owing it for 9 or so years (a decision i immediately regreted), so i'm not new to the foibles of TVR ownership wink

Thanks in advance

Us old 'uns tend to know plate registrations suffixes, it's a '76 or '77. Nice looking car. smile

ETA: This was the competition - https://bridgeclassiccars.co.uk/win-a-tvr-2500m/

'76 1st registered in Feb '77

Some of the paperwork with it suggests it's a TVR show car from the 1976 Motor Show

Apologies, I'd presumed you were younger than me. smile It's a bit of a thing for me since I was a kid, many folk have no real idea of the age of a car by looking at the plate, my mother for one, even though it's more obvious for the last 20 years. rolleyes

No problem sixor8.
I still like tinkering with my 3000M , 3000S and an Elan Sprint.
I count myself lucky to be able to do it and as far as i know still not lost my marbles. Or at least others just let me talk to myself lol

Very nice car. I always think BRG or similar is one the best colours for the M series

That’s very nice, well done!

And in keeping with the age of the car -

In the West Midlands, there's TVR Central - https://www.centraltvr.co.uk/ or a few miles away, Andy Nicholas at SSC (he was the head mechanic at TVR Central for many years before starting up on his own post COVID) - https://www.facebook.com/SpecialistSportsCars/

You'll need to ask them if they have much experience with TVRs of that vintage smile

There's also DG Sports in Redditch (inherited the David Gerald name) - https://www.dgsportscars.com/services/tvr/ with fixed menu servicing for that car but I've not had anything done there myself.

How fantastic it is to win a car like that. She looks a cracker from here too. Beauty.

I see you’ve got the power thing covered with your Supra.
I have access to one with over 750 Bhp and similar torque figures.. it’s completely insane but brilliant too.

Well done.

You lucky so and so!

This was one of the few competitions I have taken part in. I didn’t go as far to watch the draw live but I was tempted to do so.

Another recommendation for Sportmotive just up the A34 from you.
