Does anyone know how to safely disable the ABS brakes on an Esprit?

There was some sort of talk likre that amoung some V8's and 4 cyl. owners that went mowing the grass on the apron of the track while us non abs guys were able to drift brake around the same turn. They were going to install some sort of switch to disable the ABS and enable it for traffic driving.

you could try pulling the abs fuse maybe? at your own risk obviously!

don't come crying to us if you end up stuffing it :-)

I can't believe that savvy owners like us that have cars that go this _ _ _ _ _ _ _ fast have not found a way to disable the ABS system. Come on you guys! ABS is for SISSIES! There has got to be someone out there that has found a good work-a-round short of replacing the master cylinder.

By the way, I take responsibility for my own choices. Any advise in this topic won't be at risk.

Install a on/off toggle or rocker switch in line of the ABS fuse using the correct gauge wire and it will do what you want.
Calvin (with one of the few non ABS 90 SE's able to drift brake around turns without that darn chattering.)
