We will be staying at Whittlebury Hall on friday night which is just a bit south of Silverstone I think. Anyone fancy meeting up along the A43 or whatever to arrive at the circuit in convoy .

Are you staying in the trave lodge on the friday night? If so have you any idea what time you'll be setting off for the circuit?

No Paul, am driving up early so will either meet up for a convoy onto Silverstome or if it works meet the others already up there for breakfast somewhere first.

Its the only place to stay, and has great motorabilia displays. I am in there Saturday night. You can easily walk there from the circuit through the gate at the field by Becketts and along past their golf course. Plan is to leave the car at Silverstone overnight but to get some sleep while the 24 hour race is underway.

Think there are quite a few folks staying at a nearby hotel. We have booked a big table for dinner on the friday night and a few of the Noble gang including Simon Hucknall are coming to that.

I guess we will all be convoying down to the track after breccy the Sat morning.

Oh, and I'll be the bloke with no Noble !!

Well I'd say 7 - 7.30 meet then and aim to leave at 8.30 to convoy to the circuit.

(I was at silverstone yesterday and it took about an hour to get into the paddock from the A43 junction)

Who's up for it ?!

(Justin, Ash and Dan - you have no choice as I will be turfing you out when I leave to get there !!!)

Crikey - you boys are keen. Do you think there'll be a big queue to get in then? I was planning on leaving home about 8:30am and I live 50 miles away!

2 hours at the posh gaf and just meeting up with you lot when you have had your heart attack on a plate. Plus I have to get Alison out of bed which will be a task in itself.

If we don't need to get to the track until 11, isn't a 6.00 am start a little OTT?

If its like lemans, the race won't even start until 4, so not sure its worth being at the track from 9!
