Where to make a bespoke laptop stand?
Discussion
Firstly, this is a completely random question, apologies that I couldn't find a suitable thread to post in!
I've cut out a cardboard stand that I want to have made to attach to my treadmill. As you can tell, this is a very high-end prototype!
Now I have this bit of cardboard, where can I go to get this made into something I can actually use to hold my laptop? Would anyone have a recommendation of somewhere I can send my measurements to, who could make it into something userable?

Is it flat, or are there bends/folds in it?
Do you want this made form wood, steel, or something else.
Wood - local joiner can knock it together from ply or MDF
Steel - local sheet metal place.
It’s flat. I think it would be best made out of something like acrylic. Do you want this made form wood, steel, or something else.

In an ideal world, someone would know a company I can just send the measurements to, then they would post out the finishing product to me.
Does it have to be custom-made? I can't see that working out very economically.
Nothing here that works for you? https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=treadmill+desk+attach...

Thanks for the link, unfortunately. I have a Peloton+ from the US, the stand for it is around £200 and not readily available in the UK (As the Peloton+ isn't available in the UK) hence trying to make something myself. If it’s flat and acrylic then could you not just buy a sheet of acrylic yourself and replicate your cardboard template? It wouldn’t be too hard of a task.
You might struggle to find someone willing to make it from just measurements. They will likely want a STEP file or similar.
Nice one, didn't even know I could just get some acrylic and cut at home. Just watched a video on YouTube and it seems more than possible. You might struggle to find someone willing to make it from just measurements. They will likely want a STEP file or similar.
If you want it in acrylic any one with a CNC machine will be able produce it for you and from a dimensioned sketch, although many would prefer a step file as it stops any problems if it does not fit. Polycarb may be better as it is less likely to break if leant on or fallen on. Metal again will be easy to make it from just need to find someone with a laser cutter or similar. Ali or stainless as you won't need to paint it. All of these though are going to cost a couple of hours of machine time, even if they cut in minutes you sill need to set the machines and program them.
I would buy a bit of plastic from eBay and have a go at cutting it. Then polish the edges.
Mastering this is one of the most satisfying things to do with plastic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mmd56UMHDK0

Take your template to a local sign shop and they will CNC it for you in acrylic (Perspex). Additional charge may apply to draw you template as a vector file and they may offer the option of flame polishing the edges for a smoother finish. In an ideal world, someone would know a company I can just send the measurements to, then they would post out the finishing product to me.
I've used these guys and been impressed.

They'll cut the overall piece to your required size and shape and you just need to get your drill and jigsaw out for the internal cuts.
