I blame my stress while driving on SUV drivers chatting away on their cell phones while reading the paper and paying not a bit of attention to the road in their 4 ton gas hogs.

I actually find driving relaxing. Concertrating on the task in hand instead of worrying about the crap that usually bothers me.

Oh and I don't go anywhere near London

I find the most stressful thing is watching for speed cameras. Then I got the Geo, and it makes biking a lot safer - not so worried about flashes. Then I got a tiny palte made up, and now I ride safer than ever, with my mind on avoiding numpties, and being as technically perfect as I can be.

Who says speed kills? My new worry is looking for Police cars, but so far gone past 3, and not been stopped with the plate. Now that feels stressful, knowing Plod is staring at you inching away from them!

Have a nice night all.

Yesterday afternoon, driving home from the NEC along the A45 (you locals will know what's coming next ...). Being a good boy, keeping to the speed limit, playing 'spot the speed camera with the passengers', even not too annoyed about the odd 60mph limit along a divided DC in the middle of nowhere ... anyway a few miles South of Coventry they've planted a couple of TruVelos.

Came across the first one in a 50mph limit on a DC in the middle of nowhere (i.e. no turnings/houses). Thing is, it was around a blind bend in the road ... FFS. I came around the bend at 55ish (going with the flow) and everyone was doing an emergency stop from whatever speed (noone was doing more than 60ish). Now that stressed me out! Why put the camera after a blind bend? Surely putting it before the bend would slow everyone to a 'safe' speed before going around the bend.

Those things are driving me around the bend ...

I always used to be "FECKIN NUMPTIES!!!!!" with the blood vessels standing out . . . now I just think "little do they know, the slower they drive the easier it is for me to overtake them, mwahahahaha". 400bhp is very relaxing (but not in the wet!).
