I've noticed that when trying doing a quote on comparison websites and you go under the modified section it doesn't give you the option for car vinyl wrap/car wrapping only stickers/decals? You then get a quote ask the insurance provider if they accept wrapped cars and they will say they don't accept wrapped cars? So can anyone tell me what insurance companies actually accept wrapped cars? I already know of Adrian flux would like to know if there is any others?

Bumping this thread as I’m having the same problem…

Anyone know an insurer who is ‘wrap friendly’?

I'd be speaking (literally) to a performance specialist broker like Chris Knott or Adrian Flux

Not sure how they would view wrap ? It's got the potential to screw up the paintwork and therefore be costly to repair... But that aside it's "just" changing the colour...

Greenlight is also a broker that deals with modified cars. There are only a limited number of actual insurance companies covering modded cars (AIUI).

I personally will never use Adrian Flux again.

Classicline have been fine with my PPF and I seem to remember they said they’d cover (cover - geddit) coloured wraps as well.
